What we collect

The only place we collect personal information is our quote form, or when you call or text us directly. Depending on how far you get through the form, that can include:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your marina name, or your street address and town if your boat isn't at a marina
• The body of water your boat is on
• Boat details — year, brand, model, length, and name
• What you want done — install area and artwork preferences

We don't collect anything through the site beyond that. There's no account to create and no payment information handled online.

Why we collect it

To put together an accurate quote and follow up with you about it — that's the whole reason. Your boat details tell us what we're working with, your location tells us how to get to your boat, and your contact info lets us reach you. If the job goes ahead, the same information carries forward into scheduling and doing the install.

Where it goes

When you submit the quote form, it's sent through our website infrastructure — hosted on Cloudflare — into our quote-handling workflow and our email inbox. That's it. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else for their own use.

The site doesn't run advertising trackers or analytics cookies, so there's no third party quietly following your visit. The one piece of automated checking on the form is Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a quick background check to block spam bots before a submission reaches us — it doesn't track you or build a profile.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as it's useful — while we're preparing your quote, and for as long as any resulting work with you is active or under warranty. We don't hang onto old quote requests indefinitely.

Your rights

You can ask what information we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We don't publish a separate contact email for this — reach us the same way you'd reach us for a quote: call or text 705 716-1223, or send a message through the quote form and let us know what you need.

Governing law

KC Design Marine operates in Ontario, Canada, and handles personal information in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Changes to this policy

If how we handle your information changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
